Registration for accommodation have now been CLOSED.

We, Team Cognizance 2010 will strive to make your stay with us as pleasant and comfortable as we can. To enable us to assist you in the best possible manner, we will require a few preliminaries from your side.

 
Online registrations for accommodation facilities of Cognizance 2010 have started from 25th February 2010. Book your seat in advance.
 
Please ensure that you register yourself with the registration link on this website as soon as possible. A certain number of limited seats are being put up for registration. 
We might not be able to serve you in any manner in the absence of such a registration for accommodation, leading to a situation where you may have to arrange for your own accommodation and food outside the campus, causing you a great deal of inconvenience.
 
Since our capacity to house the participants is limited, the earlier you register for hospitality, the better it will be both for you and us to carry out the accommodation process smoothly.

Cognizance will not be providing accommodation facility to any participants who have their colleges within the 110 km radius of Roorkee, i.e. cities like Roorkee, Saharanpur , Haridwar, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Dehradun.

 
How to get to IIT Roorkee !
 
The IITR campus is located in the middle of Roorkee city on the Delhi-Dehradun/Haridwar national highway. You can come by BUS/ TRAIN/ PRIVATE CAB/ PRIVATE BUS. Accommodation
 
Upon reaching the IITR campus, please come straight to the hospitality desk located in the UG students club where you will have to register yourself. Please look out for directions to the hospitality desk, which will be placed at appropriate locations on your way inside the campus.
Accommodation might be provided either inside or outside campus, depending on the availability of facilities and will be allocated strictly in the order of arrival and on completion of hospitality registration on campus. Please make note that you will be required to share the accommodation. Requests for individual rooms or any other pleas in this regard will not be entertained.
 

The accommodation facilities at Cognizance 2010 will be available between March 25th, 8pm and March 29th, 9am.
 
Hospitality Desk
 
It is mandatory for you to register yourself at the Hospitality desk for food and accommodation. The Hospitality Desk, will also contain an enquiries and announcements area that will always be manned by our volunteers. Please feel free to approach the volunteers at the enquiries desk for any assistance/ queries. They will either sort out your issues themselves or will redirect you to the appropriate personnel. The Hospitality desk will also host information like telephone numbers of cab facilities, nearest hospitals, hotels etc for your convenience.
 
The hospitality desk will function between 7 am and midnight everyday during Cognizance 2010.
